Today, when I came in the music room I saw that the arrangement of the chairs and instruments are different and so did my classmates after that Mr. Sadrakh took our attendance as usual and then we practiced for the assessment held on wednesday 9th of December '09 we didn't have enough time for instrument class so we just had theory.

Today, Mr. John took our attendance and he together with Mr. Harry also gave us questions regarding major scales and their chords. If we're not able to answer the question/s we have to stand up and either Mr. John or Mr. Harry will ask question/s again until they got it right they can sit down. I wasn't asked any questions.

Today, Mr. Sadrakh took our attendance and after that we began to review on the major scales and of course their chords too. He gave some questions to my friends including myself but were only given 5 seconds to answer it. I felt relieved and happy as I was able to answer the question Mr. Sadrakh gave me.

First Mr. Sadrakh took our attendance, checked our homework on blogspot again and then we reviewed on all the major scales 6B learned including the chords too. There still a few people who didn't understand about it so Mr. Sadrakh explained it more to those people but eventually they get it now. Because of reviewing we didn't have any instrument class.

At first Mr.Sadrakh took our attendance and checked our homework on the blogspot and then after that some students took the re-test and there were 13 students who took it not including me and after the that we reviewed on major scales and the chords too.

Today was the assessment day for playing our 16 bars pentatonic melody but before that Mr. Sadrakh took our attendance and the violin students played first followed by piano, guitar and woodwind. I was the third to play when the piano students started to play but because of the assessment there were no instrument class....

Today Mr. Sadrakh checked our attendance then we reviewed about major scales and he also told us some new major scales then gave us a worksheet about it which also contain the chords. In instrument class Mr. Harry told us to play our 16 bars pentatonic melody but he said I need to play it more confidently and to practice more.

Today Mr. Sadrakh took our attendance and checked our HW but I wasn't able to finish it so I will submit tonight by e-mail and soft copy by tomorrow. Then one student from each instrument group played their own 16 bar melody. In instrument class I practiced my own 16 bars melody on the piano and Mr. Harry told me to finish my finale.

Mr. Sadrakh took our attendance then checked our homework and then he showed us on how to put the lyrics on the finale. I couldn't download the software so I need to share it with my friend so I will submit it tomorrow. In instrument class Mr. Harry told us how to write block chords, broken chords and the alternative broken chords also.

First, Mr. Sadrakh checked our attendance then all of us copy our lyrics to the draft paper he gave us yesterday. Jesica had some problems withe her lyrics so she asked me for some and after that Mr. Harry explained to the whole class about Finale 2009 software.

Today Mr. Sadrakh told us to write our 16 bar melody on a piece of paper he gave us, he also told us to make a title of our song so since my song sounds happy I went with "Happy Face" then I sang in pairs with Angky again singing Silver Moon Boat. In instrument class Mr.Herry told us how to use finale software.

Today I sang a song together with my friends and in pairs with Angky. The song was called Gundul-gundul pacul then I also heard my friends sing in pairs. In instrument class I played my 16 bars 2nd pentatonic with broken chord but I still need to practice at home more. And I finally heard Ryan playing his melody. My friends also played their melody with the broken chord.

Today Mr. Sadrakh checked our checked our homework, asked us questions about the chords then we learned a new song called silver moon boat. In instrument class Mr. Harry told us to play our song 16 bars with the chords on the piano and I also heard my friends playing their song.

Today Mr.Sadrakh told us the tonic triad of c major scale and we made an 8 bar melody of the 2nd pentatonic triad and we were also given a homework to make 16 bars from either pentatonic 1 or 2.

Today Mr.Sadrakh told us about the pentatonic scale. He told us 2 scales and he also checked the people who did their homework and who didn't and also he gave us all homework to make a melody from C major (8 bars). In instrument class Mr. Herry told us to make an 8 bar melody from (c, d, e, g, a) but I new to it so I didn't finish.

Today Mr. Sadrakh told us the score of our music assessment and he also gave us 2 questions of the natural scale and major scale. In instrument class we talked about what we did in term 1 and what we have to prepare for term 2 activities.

Today I watched my frienda playing their instrument I also played the piano in front ofmy friendsfor the assessment I felt nervous so I made a few mistakes. Then I also saw Mr. Harry's brother play thetrumpet and french horn.

Today I practiced playing the piano as well as the others because the next day is the assessment task. In the music theoy class Mr.Herry told us about this blog and he also told us that his friend will be playing the trumpet and french horn on the 3rd of September.

on that day in music theory class I presented my power point presentation again about balinese music and then I saw some of my friends played their song to play in the assessment. we did not have any instrument class because we ran out of time.

On this day we didn't have any instrument class because we had to present our power point but when I did mine, our group only got half the score so we had to do it again the next day and then we were also told to make our individual power point booklet.

On that day in music theory class We were given some question about the sharp and flat notes and we also discussed more about the presentation. In instrument class I practiced the song but not the scales because we need more time to practice the song for the assessment.

On that day in music theiry class Mr.Sadrakh told us more about the sharp and flat notes and he also gave us homewok about it and then in instrument class I was told that the assessment is in 2 more weeks so I practice harder in class and at home.

On this day in music theory class me and my group disscussed more on what each person have to do in the group and then in instrument class I played the scales that I could play and then I heard my friends that came from other classes played the piano and of course I also played my song.

On this day in music theory class Mr. Sadrakh grouped us into 5 to make a power point presentation about Indonesian. music and my group was the balinese music. In instrument class I played the major scales and also A minor harmonc also I practiced the song again. This was also the second day of the other students from other class to be in 6B.

On this day in music theory class we learn more about the C major scale and about the sharp and flat notes. In instrument class I practiced the major scales from C-B and then I practiced more from the song repeatedly.

This was the first day of music class in the month of August. In music theory class we were given a song called apuse and we sang it together with the whole class and the in instrument class Mr. Herry taught me how to play B major scale and A minor harmonic but I didn't play a song because we ran out of time in instrument class.

This was the third day of music class and also the last music class in the month of July. In music theory class Mr. Sadrakh taught us about the C major natural scale and gave us some homework according to the C major natural scale. In instrument class Mr.Herry how to play C-A major scale and also played more from the song from the Duvernoy book.

This was the second day of music class. In music theory class we sang oi nani keke altogether with the class again and with Mr. Harry leading us and in instrument class I started to play a song to perform for the music assessment and I practiced to play the major scales from C-G (1 octave).

This was the first day of music class in grade 6 and in music theory class we were still discussing about the instrument class we want to be in and we were also given a song called Oi nani keke and we sang it altogether with the class and I chose to learn piano in my instrument class. And in instrument class Mr. Herry taught me how to play C major scale on piano.
